Sammy Casados, District D incumbent in Pasadena’s city council election, is a family and community oriented citizen who is ready to serve the City of Pasadena. Since his school days, Sammy was raised in Pasadena’s Deepwater neighborhood and graduated from Deer Park High School. He chose to purchase his home in the neighborhood he loves and resides there with his wife of 18 years and his two children. He continues to contribute to his neighborhood serving as your current council representative. Sammy has worked in the petro-chemical industry minutes from his home for years and understands the importance of a strong Pasadena economy. Along with his normal work duties, Sammy also volunteers and has advanced to the rank of Captain in his refinery’s fire brigade acting as a first line of defense in emergencies. Sammy Casados is a husband, father, community leader, work-horse and is ready and will continue to serve District D and this great city.
As the District D Councilman, Sammy’s priorities include keeping tax dollars in the neighborhood, ensuring government transparency and accountability, improving roads, infrastructure, and city services, and supporting first responders.
Councilman Casados is always looking for ways to give back to his community. He was involved in the formation of the Deepwater Neighborhood Association, and has been supportive of the Pasadena Police Department, including his involvement in their Back to School Backpack Giveaway and Toys for Tots.
